Organising Your Work

As your conversations grow, Topics and Browser help you keep work in the right lane across a shared, governed team workspace. Good organisation is not just tidiness. It is how the platform turns old chats into reusable context - grounded in your real systems - instead of a long list of forgotten threads.

Create a Topic

Pro+

Create a Topic when related chats belong in the same lane of work. A Topic is more than a folder. It gives related conversations a shared place to accumulate and be found again later.

In Browser, create a Topic when you can see a clear subject area forming: a client, a workstream, a campaign, a product problem, or an ongoing life project. Once chats are filed into it, retrieval and continuity become much stronger.

File chats into Topics

Pro+

Move conversations into the Topic they really belong to. This matters because the filing decision changes how easy the chat is to find, continue, and relate to other work later.

Use the chat header Topic selector or Browser move controls to file a thread. Refile when the purpose of the chat becomes clearer over time. Early filing helps context grow in the right place instead of getting stranded in Quick Chats.

Use Browser as your archive

Pro+

Browser is where organisation turns into leverage. It is the archive, retrieval, and re-entry layer of the platform, not just a place to search old messages.

Use Browser to search, inspect the selected thread, refile it, and continue it in place when that thread still fits the job. Resume a good thread when continuity helps, and start fresh when the scope has clearly moved on.

Organise Quick Chats

Pro+

Tidy up unassigned conversations. Quick Chats are useful as a staging area, but they should not become the permanent home for important ongoing work.

Review Quick Chats regularly and file anything that is becoming a real lane of work. Leaving everything unfiled makes future retrieval weaker and stops the wider context structure from doing its job.

Use Work/Life as context hygiene

Pro+

Work/Life mode is not just a filter. It helps keep personal and professional archives, Topics, and retrieval paths from polluting each other.

Use the Work/Life toggle before you start or refile work. It is easier to maintain clean context boundaries from the beginning than to fix a mixed archive later.

Ready to make context easier to reuse?

Good organisation makes the whole product feel smarter, because the right thread becomes easier to find, continue, and trust.
