This is where the product moves from advice to execution. Powers and connectors let a Pal carry context into real systems and propose actions, with a human-oversight gate before anything runs and a full audit trail after. Every action stays grounded, governed, and accountable inside the workflows your teams already use.
Custom Power configuration
Use plain chat when you only need thinking, drafting, or advice.
Use a Power when the next step should reach a real system, record, or workflow.
Use templates and connectors when the same execution path shows up again and again.
Give your Pals the ability to reach outside the chat. Custom Powers connect a Pal's reasoning to a real action path, so work moves from recommendation to execution only after a human approves it, with every step captured in the audit trail.
Add a Custom Power when a recurring action belongs in a system outside the chat: create a record, trigger a flow, update a database, or post to an API. The point is not automation for its own sake. It is to let a Pal carry the right context into the right system at the right time, behind an approval-before-action gate and a complete audit trail.
Connect automations, APIs, and databases directly to your Pals. Connectors make external systems part of the working environment instead of something the user has to mentally bridge by hand.
A good connector exposes the operations a Pal actually needs, with clear boundaries and approval points. The goal is controlled capability: enough reach to be useful, not so much that the Pal becomes unsafe or vague about what it is doing.
Save and reuse structured thinking workflows. Templates let you preserve a strong reasoning pattern so future work starts from a proven method instead of from scratch.
Use templates when the same type of complex job keeps returning: reporting, reviews, analysis, planning, or evaluation. You are preserving a good method, not just saving facts, so strong work becomes easier to repeat.
Every Pal displays a tier badge showing its capability level. This helps you understand at a glance what each Pal can do, especially when working with Pals deployed to you from other accounts.
Tier badges appear on Pal profile cards. They reflect the plan level of the Pal's creator, which determines the features available to that Pal (e.g., Knowledge Base access, Custom Powers). Badges are informational and update automatically.
Custom Powers, connectors, and templates let your Pals take real action in your business systems. Build workflows that fit how you actually work.
